Dr. Erica Kim is certified in Acupuncture and Veterinary Medical Manipulation (VMM is animal chiropractic care). She incorporates these treatment methods, as well as traditional Chinese herbal medicine, into her patient care as needed and desired by the client. After an initial consultation is done with Dr. Kim, she can make recommendations that are best suited for your pet which may include one or more of these forms of treatment. Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) is a highly contagious that primarily affects wild and domestic rabbits. It is characterized by internal bleeding and liver damage and is often fatal. Common signs include bleeding from orifices, fever, difficulty breathing, and hemorrhages in the eye. In many cases, death occurs within 12-36 hours of infection.
