CPVETS CLOSED 5/10-5/14
CPVETS (Central Pennsylvania Veterinary Emergency Treatment Services) will close Monday, 5/10 at 8am and remain closed until Friday,  5/14, at 8am. There are other local and regional veterinary emergency services available for you and your pets during this temporary closure.

Your CAH team will be available for our clients by TEXT ONLY from 7-10pm each evening M - Th for the upcoming week from Mon., 5/10 - Thurs., 5/13. If you are unsure whether you have an emergency requiring that you go to a veterinary hospital, you can text 814-238-5100 and someone will advise you. If you know you have an emergency, do not wait to text us. Call your chosen Veterinary Emergency Hospital to make sure they can see you and go immediately.

After 10pm, please first call the Veterinary Emergency Hospital of your choice and go directly there if your pet requires emergency care. Texts to us after 10pm will be triaged the next morning.

Here are the closest veterinary emergency clinics. Please call first to ensure your pet can be seen. (Demand for vet ER services is quite high right now.) Be aware that there may be a significant wait at any clinic you choose unless your pet is critically ill or injured. Veterinary Emergency Hospitals work like human hospitals - those in greatest need are cared for first.
