Meet Erica Kim

Erica Kim, DVM

Dr. Kim received a B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2014. She then completed and received her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) in 2019. She worked as a small animal clinician in California before beginning to practice at Centre Animal Hospital in January 2022.

Dr. Kim practices an integrative approach to medicine, utilizing western modalities and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her approach to medicine is both holistic and individualized. She is looking forward to finishing her training in veterinary medical manipulation (chiropractic) in summer 2025 where she can offer additional modality to her patients.

When she is not at the practice, she manages a large garden where she harvests her own food as well as store and preserve them. She also enjoys crocheting, wood burning pet portraits, as well as hiking and biking. Dr. Kim and her husband Craig are owned by three cats and a dog. She enjoys serving CAH clients and patients, and practicing non-traditional approach to medicine which stimulate a pet’s natural healing abilities.
