Dr. Erica Kim received a B.S. and M.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2014. She then completed and received her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist in 2019. She worked in veterinary medicine in California for 7 years before beginning to practice at Centre Animal Hospital in January 2022.
After spending her childhood in South Korea, Dr. Kim and her family immigrated to Charlotte, NC, when she was fourteen years old. She lived in California for more than a decade before deciding to come East to be closer to family. She is looking forward to having a change of seasons again, and to being able to garden; she aspires to be able to store and preserve her own produce. She also enjoys crocheting, reading and writing, as well as hiking and biking.
Dr. Kim and her husband Craig are owned by three cats and two dogs. She is looking forward to serving CAH clients and patients, and to offering acupuncture to stimulate a pet’s natural healing abilities.
