Meet Cynthia Cook

Cynthia Cook Senior Certified Veterinary Technician

As a junior in HS, Cynthia published a paper on Photodynamic Therapy (cancer research), because she was interested in research medicine. When she relocated, there were no research facilities nearby, so she moved into small animal medicine. She holds a Wayne County Community College Degree from Wayne State U. and an Associate’s in Applied Science Veterinary Technology (2000). She is certified as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (MI, also an RVT in OH and a CVT in PA). Before joining CAH in 2022, Cynthia worked at CPVETS, DogCat Enterprises, Pfizer, and the Henry Ford Hospital in the Biomedical Resources Dept. Cynthia has always had a passion for sharing her knowledge, experience, and leadership skills with others.

Cynthia is a 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and also practices Tae Kwan Do. Her family includes 3 daughters and a stepson, a hamster, and an English Springer spaniel.
