Anne Marie is our former Office & Client Care Manager. She holds a B.S. in Special Education from JMU and a certificate in Basic Wildlife Rehabili from the IWRC, and is Fear Free certified. She has worked in both day and emergency vet med and has volunteered in wildlife rehab, animal rescue, and with Guiding Eyes for the Blind as a puppyraiser. Anne Marie also coordinated the former Orphaned Kitten Program in State College from 2009-2015. She published over 60 novels and novellas and several magazine articles over a 30-year career as an author.
Anne Marie and her husband have devoted much of their lives to animal rescue and foster care, mostly recently with senior hospice dogs. Their family includes 2 daughters and sons-in-law, 5 grandchildren, 2 greyhounds, a Golden retriever, and 3 cats. She also enjoys needle arts, reading, and walking her dogs.
